Juniors

Junior Showmanship is offered both days — Saturday, October 24 and Sunday, October 25 (AKC Event Search lists Junior Showmanship competition at both shows; event numbers were not captured). Entry is $15.00 as the only class and no fee as an additional class, per the 2026 premium. Junior Showmanship judges: Saturday — Mr. Christopher Tilghman Neale; Sunday — Mrs. Patti Widick Neale.

Specialties & supported entries

Supported entry both days: the Tampa Bay Area Shetland Sheepdog Club (a concurrent specialty runs under a separate premium list). Shetland Sheepdogs are limited to 100 entries each day. The club's site hosts photo archives of prior October shows going back to 2014.

The venue

The shows are held in the Charlie Grimes Agricultural Show Center on the Florida Strawberry Festival grounds, 2508 W Oak Avenue, Plant City, FL 33563. Shows are indoors in air conditioning on taped mats; show hours are 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM each day. Grooming loading and unloading is on W. Cleveland Street, day parking is south of Oak Avenue, and RV parking is south of W. Oak Avenue.

RV & reserved grooming

RV spaces open at 12:00 noon Friday, October 23; gates open at 6:00 AM Saturday and Sunday. Dry camping is $30.00 per day ($35.00 after closing); full hookups are $70.00 per day ($75.00 after closing) — PayPal rates run slightly higher. Reserved 10'×10' grooming is $50.00 for the weekend ($55.00 after closing). Reservations must be paid in full by October 7, 2026: RV chair Marilyn Wade, (813) 431-1969; grooming chairs Tom & Maureen Whitney, (321) 978-4609. The grooming pavilion is under roof with fans but no air conditioning — only reserved grooming guarantees electric.

Extras

The weekend includes the Howl-O-Ween Spooktacular costume contest, health clinics, and a New Exhibitor Briefing at 10:00 AM Saturday and Sunday at the club table.
